Ashtyn Giles, Miss Iron County, represented her community at the Miss Utah Scholarship Competition, earning multiple honors including the Silver Heart Giver Award and evening gown recognitions. Throughout her reign, she dedicated over 600 hours to community service, supporting local events, fundraising efforts, and charitable initiatives. As she prepares to pass on her crown in August, Ashtyn leaves behind a strong legacy of service, compassion, and community impact.

A new Miss Iron County was crowned during the annual pageant, marking the beginning of a year focused on community service, leadership, and personal growth. The winner will represent the county at events and competitions, including the Miss Utah pageant, while promoting a platform aimed at making a positive local impact. Erika Hansen, Miss Iron County, shared her personal experience of enduring years of childhood sexual abuse to raise awareness and help others. After eventually reporting the abuse and seeing her abuser brought to justice, she chose to use her platform in the Miss Utah pageant to break the stigma around the topic and encourage open conversations. Through her advocacy, she aims to empower victims to speak out and remind parents of the importance of discussing abuse with their children.
